NI VI Meeting Two will begin on Saturday afternoon, April 7th and adjourn on Sunday, April 8th at 10:00 am. Our meeting theme is Addressing Well-Being by Overcoming Barriers/Gaps and Stigma, and the conference will open with a moving personal story of, “Resilience Can’t Be Taught, But It Can Be Learned”. The program will include national experts and AIAMC-member colleagues sharing what they know about well-being barriers and what, specifically, NI VI teams can do to reduce the stigma associated with seeking help. A two-hour “Scholarly Project Workshop – From Planning to Publication”, led by Hania Wehbe-Janek, PhD, Vice President, Academic Research & Development, Baylor Scott & White, will provide attendees with practical tips and tools to take their projects from storyboard to poster to publication. And, ample time will be set aside for institutional teams to meet and work on their projects as well as for monthly cohort call groups to network. As noted, the meeting will end on Sunday morning at 10:00 am to maximize travel time back home.
