Inspiring Programming: Meeting Two will focus on theoretical and practical applications of Curriculum Development for Medical Education and how that moves into Research and Publishing. IRB requirements will also be addressed. Curriculum Development for Medical Education: A Six-Step Approach, by David Kern, MD, MPH, will be the basis for day one’s outline. Member organizations and guest speakers will outline their own successful curriculum development processes, and team members will be equipped to begin the process of creating a sustainable quality curriculum within their home institutions.
Day two will be spent in large part discussing the processes by which teams’ work will be published at the conclusion of NI III. The how, when, where & why of the publishing process will be discussed in detail, and teams will have the opportunity to meet on their own before the close of the meeting.
Incredible Meeting Location: NI III Meeting Two will be held at the memorable Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. This four-diamond luxury resort is located at the base of Tucson’s Santa Catalina Mountains.
