National Representation and Advocacy:  Alliance members currently hold leadership positions in such key groups as the AAMC, ACGME, AHA, AMA, NRMP and others;

Educational Offerings:  The AIAMC sponsors an Annual Meeting in late March of each year where key leaders come together to share and learn about the unique challenges and attributes of independent academic medical centers.  Read more.   We also sponsor an educational session and reception at the AAMC Annual Meeting each fall.  Alliance members have access to all speaker slides and resources via our website -- whether or not they are able to attend these meetings and special events;

Special Interest Forums: The Alliance sponsors niche networking communities in a variety of specialty areas, including Designated Institutional Officials (DIO), Research and Executive Management (CEOs, CMOs, etc.).  These groups sponsor educational and networking sessions at our Annual Meeting, share data and resources and enjoy easy access to colleagues in similar positions.  Alliance members have the option of joining these forums at no additional charge. Reports:  A benchmarking survey provides AIAMC members with the only national apples-to-apples comparison of independent academic medical centers.  Survey data includes information regarding GME Programs, Research and Health Care Delivery Economics. Read more.

Member Consultations:  When you join the Alliance, you immediately become connected with more than 250 individual experts who “walk your walk” in medical education and research.  Member consultations can be as quick-and-easy and utilizing the Alliance E-Network service or as formal as hiring an Alliance member or vendor consultant. Read more.

AIAMC Job Board:  The Alliance sponsors an on-line Job Board focusing upon the positions that interest you most:  senior leadership positions in academic health centers.  In addition to employers posting positions, our Job Board features the unique resource of CV postings for individuals seeking senior leadership positions.  The AIAMC Job Board is open to members and non-members alike; however, the service is free to Alliance members. Read more.
