Keynote Speaker: John Nance is a trusted and internationally recognized broadcast analyst and advocate for both medical/patient safety and aviation safety. Before becoming Aviation Analyst for ABC News, Mr. Nance was an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and veteran airline pilot. He is the author of 18 books, including the critically acclaimed Why Hospitals Should Fly. He was one of the founding members of the National Patient Safety Foundation at the AMA and served on the board for nine years. Mr. Nance is a native Texan and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and Juris Doctor Degree from the SMU School of Law.
