Fostering leadership and providing a networking forum for senior leaders of IAMCs; |
 |
Facilitating the development of innovative educational approaches to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes; |
 |
Fostering collaboration and joint responsibility among the membership to develop benchmarking and best practices; |
 |
Facilitating member research on population-based patient outcomes; |
 |
Promoting the unique value of the IAMC on the local, regional and national levels; |
 |
Envisioning medical education and research of the future and preparing members for optimum performance; |
 |
Partnering with key, national organizations. |
Vision
The AIAMC will be an essential national resource for developing and sharing best practices in medical education and research.
About the Alliance
What is the Alliance?
We are a membership organization and more. The
Alliance is your advocate. Your forum.
An aggressive advocate for members’ unique
interests...
Since its founding in 1989, the Alliance has become a powerful

forums where medical education policy is developed and discussed.
Alliance members are leaders in organizations such as the Accreditation
Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and its Institutional
Review Committee as representatives of the American Hospital
Association (AHA), the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP),
the Association of American Medical College’s (AAMC)
Council of Teaching Hospitals, and Group on Resident Affairs
(GRA).
