On line registrations for NI VI Meeting One are now being accepted. Team leaders or their designees are required to attend and all team members are encouraged to attend as schedules and budgets allow.
NI VI Meeting One will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 13th-14th and will focus on Understanding Well-Being.
Day one begins on Friday, October 13th at 12:00 noon with lunch and networking. The Welcome and Opening Remarks by National Initiative VI Chairman, Dr. Barry Mann, will begin at 1:00 pm. Dr. Steven Craig from UnityPoint – Des Moines will present a compelling personal story about resident suicide followed by the keynote presentation Well-Being in the Clinical Learning Environment: What We Know. There will be breakout sessions, plenty of institutional team time and networking with group cohorts. Day One will end with a short wrap-up and reception, followed by dinner on your own with your team.
Day two begins on Saturday at 7:00 am with breakfast and institutional team time and -- following reflections on day one -- participants will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of Chief Executive Officers on Well-Being in the Clinical Learning Environment: From the Perspective of an Integrated Health System, followed by an Introduction to the Project Management Plan and NI VI Roadmap. There will institutional team working time and the final presentation will be Research and Scholarly Activities as you Launch your NI VI Project. The day will conclude at 12:00 pm directly after final check-in and closing remarks and will allow attendees ample flight opportunities back home.
NI VI Meeting One will be held at the Omni Chicago Hotel located 17 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and 13 miles from Chicago Midway Airport. All program materials and on-site meals are included in your registration fee. Cancellations received prior to October 1, 2017 will be refunded the paid registration fees less $25 for processing. Cancellations received after October 1, 2017 will not be refunded.
